Statement of significance:

This line of simple, neat, and pleasing cottages along the eastern side of John Street, leading up to the view of St Johns Church spire, are representative of late nineteenth-century country town cottages. They are remarkably consistent in quality and form a good group.

Description

Physical description: Weatherboard cottage with corrugated iron hipped roof and brick chimney. The cottage also has a timber posted corrugated iron bullnose verandah on a brick base with cast iron valances and is enclosed on both ends with weatherboard and lattice. The cottage has four pane double hung windows with timber shutters and a picket fence. The verandah and front path are paved.

The cottage is in good condition.

Modifications and dates: Air conditioning has been installed. Addition to rear with skillion roof.
