Statement of significance:

An unusual railway structure. If it is associated with the electrification of the line in 1929, then it is a rare example of the railways provideing their own power to the lines.

Description

Physical description: This single storey structure is at present unidentified. It has the appearance of a power housek, and may be associated with the provision of electrical power to the line in 1929. The larger roller door at its south end indicates the requirement for moving large items to and from the building. It may have been a workshop. Exterior Materials Dry pressed brick, terracotta tile, cement render.
