Statement of significance:

This cemetery is representative of rural settlement in the area, typically now providing for a number of scattered villages or localities. It continues to provide a focus for the religious beliefs of the community, and is representative of the monumental mason's art and skills. It possesses the potential to contribute to the study of historic settlement, its social, economic and religious structure. It includes members of the Longworth and Laurie families.

History

Historical notes: Dedicated on 15th January 1886 includes areas for church of England, Roman Catholic, Presbyterians, Wesleyans, Independents, Jews, and a general area.
