Statement of significance:

A distinctive example of the Queen Anne decorated style which is surrounded by conventional terrace housing. Its multifaceted façade is highly individual and makes a major contribution to this diverse and attractive residential area.

Description

Physical description: Two storey red-brick house with slate-like tiled roof and painted timber shingled gables. Art Nouveau decoration has been applied to the walls in the form of elaborately curved stuccoed window lintels, with similar decoration to the entry porch parapet and chimney breast. The facades are many-faceted, due to the staggered elevations created in response to the awkward triangular site.
