Statement of significance:

It is an important example of a farmyard complex established and developed in the earky nineteenth century. The slab ruin is one of the few simple farmhouses remaining from this period in the City of Penrith.

Description

Construction years: 1810-1840
Physical description: A small weatherboard cottage with a separate slab kitchen and slab barn . Two Palm Trees have been planted in front of the cottage and Peppercorn trees behind. A row of Poplars provide a windbreak along the edge of the lagoon (Fox * Associates 1987: AB-2)
