Boundary:

The listing boundary is formed by the far side of the running tracks from the station, including the property of the station master's residence then turning across the tracks on the alignment of the rear boundary of the station master's residence crossing the tracks returning around the back of the dock platform then extending to the property boundary along the main street and crossing the tracks 50 metres past the other end of the platform.

Statement of significance:


	Quirindi is one of the best examples of a combined residence/station building of which there are five extant, this being one of the best. It forms an important part of the main street of Quirindi and is of high significance in the State rail system.
